This Medex bat is 1/4" thick with a tempered, water-resistant surface. It’s slightly absorbent, smooth on both sides, and widely considered the workhorse of production potters. With proper care, a stack of these bats can last for years.
Our Medex bats have a great clay adhesion and bottom drying. Their increased rigidity keeps pot rims true when lifting them off the wheel head.
