Brendan Kelley is a ceramic artist based in Madison, Wisconsin. At its core, his work focuses on functionality and the ability to intertwine art and a bond with his viewer in a society where connection can feel fleeting. He believes there is great value in interacting daily with functional art as the connection moves between a piece and its maker and holder. Brendan centers his work in this intention--accessibility to forms that express intrinsic emotion through their aesthetic.
