When drawn through a slab of clay this tool will form a perfectly shaped strip that can be readily cut to a desired length and attached to a ceramic piece as a handle.
The special taper on the inside of the cutter compresses the clay as it is cut; this imparts a smooth finish to the handle. The cutter is made with a stainless steel end that is firmly set into a smooth hardwood handle.
HM1 – a 1” loop for Pitchers
HM2 – a 3/4″ loop for Mugs
