Non Member Kiln Firing
Rules:
1. Clay and Glaze must be previously purchased from The Potter's Shop with a record in our computer system.
2. We expect your pieces to be constructed and glazed correctly. If your glaze runs onto the shelves you will be charged for shelf cleaning or a new kiln shelf. The bottom of your pieces need to be cleaned.
3. Work must be completely dry. If your work blows up in the kiln and ruins other people’s work, you will be charged accordingly.
4. Any items not picked up within 30 days of the completion will be considered abandoned, becomes property of studio and may be discarded or donated.
5. No small flat pieces are allowed. We will not fire flat pieces smaller than a smart phone. (IE: ornaments)
6. No small pieces smaller than a baseball. (IE: beads or miniatures)
7. No stilting, all bottoms must be free of glaze.
8. We DO NOT FIRE the following: glass, items stuffed with paper, metal, or any other non-clay items
