Looking for a challenge and a new skill? Come learn to throw bottled forms! Shape them into faces by adding features with clay along with using slips. 

**Previous Wheel Throwing is Necessary**

Day 1: Throwing bottle forms

Day 2: Shaping and attaching facial features

Day 3: Finishing the vessel with slip and/or choosing other colorants 

We will provide aprons, but ask that you tie back loose hair, trim fingernails, remove rings, bracelets, watches, dangling necklaces, and wear clothes that you don't getting dirty!

Our instructor will provide a demonstration and take you step by step through the process of throwing a small bowl or cup on the potter's wheel. At the end of the pottery class you will pick out a glaze color for your creation.  We will fire your piece, and glaze it in your color choice. 

Disclaimer: During the drying process and kiln firing it is possible that your piece may develop a bottom crack making it decorative instead of functional. 

For ages 16 and up

Finished pottery pieces not picked up in 90 days will be discarded.

Cancellation Policy:

Full refund is allowed if cancelling 14 days prior to the class. No refunds or reschedules after the 14 day period. FULL REFUNDS ARE SUBJECT TO A 5% SERVICE FEE. Six sign-ups are necessary for the class to run. If your session will not run for any reason, we will call you the day before class and will refund or a credit for a future class.  This is a popular class.
